So here I am thinking I'm all fancy with a blog and twitter and everything when I realize that I haven't even outlined my book for everyone in the vaguest sense. Ideally it'll be like an extended jacket flap kind of synopsis. So here it goes, hopefully without ruining too much.
High school drop out, and professional thief, Alex Sullivan is only seventeen. He lives in the booming metropolis that is Chicago after The Catastrophe that nearly destroyed the country long before he was born.
He steals to support his father and younger sister, but dreams of a time when he'll be able to make an honest living. After a minor score, he gets offered the job of a lifetime, steal from the governor of the city.
His two best friends join him on the biggest job of his career, which should go off without a hitch. Should.
They meet a girl who's there for they same thing that they are. Their problems only blossom from there, stumbling upon well kept secrets and hidden plans. The past and the present collide, revealing something so huge that the government will kill anyone who discovers it.
Alex and his friends are thrown into a world kept secret, where everything that they know is a lie. A world where they'll have to fight in a struggle to survive and save the ones that they love.
